AskMen Style Defined: Keeping Casual Classic
Here at AskMen, we strive to bring you new and interesting content to help answer any questions you may have from sex and dating to health and fitness to food and booze and of course, style and grooming. In our latest installment of the weekly series AskMen Style Defined, we talk about just how simple and clean a classic style can be for the upcoming summer weather.
New York-based lifestyle blogger and Columbia University finance student Albert Groshenko was born and raised in Russia until he made the move to the United States at age 18. After living in New York City for five years and blogging just shy of a year, Groshenko has a summer internship in finance fast approaching. That may seem like a lot, but he plans on getting the most out of every day this summer.
“I’m traveling to Barcelona and Milan [very soon], followed by [my] internship back in New York … In August I plan to travel to New Mexico to volunteer at the center for newly arrived immigrants, followed by traveling to Europe again [in the fall].”
With so much going on outside the world of fashion, we wanted to know where he actually pulls his inspiration from when putting it all together for Instagram and his blog. He is fed inspiration everyday from the streets of New York, he told us. He goes for comfortable, trendy and good looking.

“I put on clothes considering how I feel, some days are easy and chill, so I throw on my McQueen jacket, a pair of chinos, GG belt and Gucci shoes,” he continues. “If its a formal day then the best way to dress is a suit, and depending on the event it might be a t-shirt or shirt, and corresponding shoes or sneakers.”
What stood out about this style of choice from Groshenko was its simplicity. It is an outfit that works for just about anyone no matter their age, income or interest in fashion. It just always look good.
If you are looking for an idea how to make a stylish impression with the most classic of pieces, we suggest starting here, with an outfit that will look good on you today, tomorrow and ten years from now.

We think this outfit will look stylish on even the most fashion-opposed guy, because it doesn’t look good because it’s the latest, most expensive label. It looks good because the fashion simply acts as a canvas for you and your personality.
